Terms and Conditions of Use
Operation: Sleeper Cell is provided by Law 37 in aid of Cancer Research UK. Law 37 is not operated by Cancer Research UK and any problems regarding donations and the game in general should be taken up with Law 37. The game consists all the websites associated with the game including operationsleepercell.com and wearenottheagency.com.
By registering on this site you are accepting these terms and conditions. A 'player' of the game 'Operation: Sleeper Cell' is understood to be a registered user of this website.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
Law 37 or Cancer Research UK are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from your use of the game sites or participation in physical events.
Law 37 reserve the right to delete or suspend player accounts for misuse (at Law 37's discretion). Such acts of misuse include but are not limited to: comprimising the website and / or donations system, abusing other players, posting inappropriate content. Law 37 also reserve the right to change player usernames if they are deemed to be inappropriate
Players are responsible for maintaining the security of their account, including keeping their username and password safe.
Players can donate money through the game. Players will be granted a period of exclusivity after unlocking a cell. During this period, the player unlocking the cell and their team can attempt a solution whilst everyone else must wait until the period has expired. Currently this period is 12 hours. Unlocking a cell gives players no advantage within the game other than a head start at attempting a solution, and the chance to display their image on the cell. Players who unlock cells do not have ownership over them, and their image is subject to moderation and can be revoked at any time. Players receive a virtual currency for donations (at a rate of 1GBP = 1000BND) which they may use within the game. This currency is non transferable and can only be used within the game.
Players have the opportunity to appear on the 'sponsors' page, by sponsoring Cancer Research UK. The top 25 sponsors will appear in a cell each on the grid, with their choice of image, message and external link. When a sponsor is no longer in the top 25, their cell will no longer appear on the grid.
Law 37 is not responsible for the content contained within external links. Whilst Law 37 will strive to ensure that all external links are safe and decent, Law 37 cannot guarantee this will be the case.
User generated content is deemed to be considered anything that a player does as part of the game, within the site.
Law 37 is not responsible or liable for any user generated content.
By participating in 'the game' you are agreeing that Law 37 may reproduce, distribute, modify or delete your user generated content and you are explicitly giving Law 37 permission to do so.
